Meet the Owner

Hi, I'm Deanna Nwosu, owner of 5-9 Events. Although my business is new to the WV/Leesburg area, I am not new to planning! I have over three years of experience as a full-time meeting and event planner for a national trade association based in Cleveland, OH. Their events include a large annual meeting for over 250 people with multiple social events and business sessions, a national tradeshow with an educational conference averaging 100-150 attendees, and over 50 smaller meetings and social events per year. Prior to my work there, I planned several social events for other non-profit organizations including a talent show competition, a scholarship pageant, a one-day conference with breakout sessions, and an awards ball. I LOVE working with people and enjoy seeing a successful event come to fruition. After giving birth to my daughter in 2010, I realized that my 'niche' is planning children's events and other private social affairs.
